I perused the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! letter so you wouldn't have to. Right Hand Drive? Check. Massive production increases? Check. Supercharging Stations Across Europe? Check:

- Tesla is now doing final assembly and testing of vehicles at its European manufacturing facility in Tilburg, Netherlands.

First deliveries begin this week to Norway, The Netherlands, and Switzerland.

- If demonstrated demand in North America and Europe is matched by similar demand in Asia, annualized sales for Model S could exceed 40,000 units per year by late 2014.

- New options, such as a sub-zero weather package, parking sensors, upgraded leather interior, several new wheel options and a yacht- style floor center console. Xenon headlights and high definition backup camera were made standard equipment on all cars. Tesla also unbundled the performance package to enable a greater level of customization .

Tesla is rolling out 120 kW Superchargers, which are 33% faster than our current version and can replenish half a charge in just 20 minutes, for free.

- Model S owners now have access to free Supercharging between Portland and Vancouver, between St. Louis and Chicago, and across a substantial number of major inter-city routes in the Northeast, California and Florida.

Tesla's first European Superchargers will be placed in service with an initial focus on Norway, where Tesla will cover almost 80% of the population of that country.

R&D will ramp up on the Model X

R&D will ramp up on a Right Hand Drive model - Rule Britannia! And Japan, Australia, New Zealand, etc...

Tesla purchased an additional 31 acres to allow for an increase in production capacity

Tesla mostly has good news. It's no mistake all of us in North America are seeing more and more Teslas on the road. Soon that will be the case in Europe as well.

Update: From the Telcon - 3:39 pmADD
Musk: "We expect to deliver a small number of [Model X] units at the end of next year."

Tesla is looking more and more like one of the best stock purchases I've ever made (currently sits at second), and they do not show any signs of stopping. I cannot believe I'm typing this, but if they can actually deliver on the model X, I might be a buyer.

I think I'd always like to have a gas-engined car, but I'd consider a Tesla as well.

I'd keep the fun gas car for weekend canyon carving, and get a Tesla for comfortable commuting. I don't think I could ever (nor would I want to) go exclusively electric.

Used Model S just jumped several spots on my most wanted list.

Its currently at #1.

It's number 1 for me as well, depending on depreciation and R8 values

Apart from the fact that it doesn't make thundering V8 noises, it is checking off all the boxes and at no point do I think " No this is all wrong why did they do that"

Now, if they patched in some software that allowed me to pick thundering V8 noises through the speakers? We can all shut up and they can take all my money.

Saw a Tesla S here in the UK for the first time last week. When I was in LA in June I thought the S looked great, but on a packed M25 it looked a little lost amongst the sea of Jag XF's and BMW 5 Series. Still a great idea but think the styling needs a little emboldening to stand out in Europe?

Hmmmm. Maybe, but there is mention of changes to the Model S in the letter, though not so much for design as for manufacturing. Though sometimes that can lead to design changes.

Random question, but was it RHD or LHD? (haven't seen a pic of a RHD one yet)

From when I first saw it, I thought it looked like a shorter, more bland XF.

It was LHD on German plates

Personally I would do away with the faux grille on the front. I don't think it needs it for any techincal reason and it would emphasise this is something new and different.
